RWBY Volume 4: An RTX Summary
RTX has officially come to an end now, and while the crew are returning home to their husbands, wives, children, and liquor, the RWBY panels yielded fun, new things for us to get hyped up on!
The clothing:
We got a bucket of sunshine up there.
The story: Volume 4 will begin 6 to 8 months after the end of Volume 3!
The tech: Poser is no longer being used. They have switched over to Maya, and they'll probably stay there for a while. The animation will be far smoother. Grimm have glowing, red eyes that drag little red trails as they move. Expect this volume to have the best visuals!
The trailer/preview: Is out there, discretely recorded on

Sup dA~
Do people still use dA? I feel like we've all moved on to Tumblr or elsewhere, haha. Ah well, I'll keep updating here as long as I have a few things to talk about.
First, new tutorial is up on Patreon. The topic voted for this month was Writing for Webcomics! I also made a pretty sizeable support worksheet to go along with it... I had a lot to say. A few previews below~
Last month's tutorial, Coloring with Masks, was a great success, and it seems like people are really enjoying this new one too, so that makes me glad. I'll be posting the full versions here with a 6 month delay, so... that will begin in... November or so? But if you

Extremely Advanced Potion-Making
"Luna, this seems like a rather, ah, questionable plan," noted Hermione. The hesitancy of her comment somewhat understated her feelings...she was frankly terrified. But yelling never mattered to Luna, the Ravenclaw only got stranger the more upset you got, so Hermione restrained herself, as usual.
"How do we learn, if not by asking questions?" chirped Luna, as she tapped a tiny silver chisel with an equally tiny hammer against the stone archway before her. They stood in a dim and dusty storeroom, apparently abandoned, off of Diagon Alley.
"Mmm, yes. But I'm not sure we've learned quite enough to open a portal to..." Hermione trailed of

Glare. That was the one problem with a metallic, prosthetic limb. The glare from the sun.
The sunglasses helped, but not by much. And the stares from those walking by indicated I wasn’t the only one experiencing the haphazard glares being shot across the cement pathway. But hey, it wasn’t my fault metallic prosthetics went out of fashion the same year I happened to get demoted. Those new ones aren’t cheap.
Draining the rest of my coffee, I tossed the cup into the nearby recycle bin and stood. I was just about to leave when another shot of sunlight hit me right in the cheek, the warmth taking me completel
Clearing Mental Space for Creativity by Andantonius, journal
Clearing Mental Space for Creativity
A lot of artists (myself included) often reach a point, especially early on in their artistic journey, where we see other people's work and question if we even have the potential to be creative. We see the process and we understand the steps it took to get from A to B. It seems easy enough, right? Then we try to do it ourselves, but our brains seem to lock up and our glorious plan for the best painting ever ends in a burning pile of frustration. After having some occasional success in dealing with this, I've learned two important things:
THING NUMBAH ONE:
Give yourself more time. It's simple, it's easy, and you can do it right now. There's
People don't listen to classical music as much as they used to. Many would define it as slow or boring, and in comparison with the fast paced, drum driven, digital glitching music of today they're not wrong to feel it that way.
This is true in every form of media. Why play a board game when you can play a video game with exciting graphics and sound? Why watch a stage play when you can watch a movie with impossible action and breathtaking visuals? Why read an article when you can watch a YouTube vlog with jump cuts mid-sentence ensuring none of your precious time is wasted?
This is the evolution of media and technology and it's not inherentl

After your alarm goes off you lean over to shut it off. You yawn and rub your eyes, ready to start another day but then you’re startled by tall figure standing at the end of your bed and looking at you. The figure was draped in a spandex suit; that was covered in colors of red and black. The mysterious individual wore a spandex mask with black circles around the exterior of both eyes while the rest of the head was covered in a red color. The figure had to sword handles sticking up from behind its back. Its waist had an arsenal of weaponry from grenades to hand guns. “You know you drool when you sleep? And pee-eww do your farts sti
