The night was still muggy, as the day had been. And a group of wide-eyed children has settled around a crackling campfire, their bellies full of half-charred S'Mores. Their counsellor had settled herself on a rock, perched slightly above the campers. The fire cast eery shadows across her well-tanned face.

The counsellor snatched a flashlight from the ground and turned it on, pointing it under her face to intensify the mood. She cleared her throat and began to speak. "Once... there was an innocent group of friends... just like you guys -only a little older- who decided to go camping in the backfields of their friend's backyard..."

The once rowdy campers were silenced in awe of the tale that their counsellor was beginning, sitting quietly on their log benches.

"Sure the afternoon had begun well, lots of swimming, plentiful conversation, snacks and drinks of the sort. Oh yes, the night seemed like any other of their summer get-togethers. But as the evening began to wind down, the teenagers began to notice something odd in the air. But they foolishly dismissed it..."

The counsellor paused for dramatic effect, she had everyone's attention.

"They settled in one of the larger tents, not quite ready to turn in for the night. But this was when their foolishness began to get them. They decided to play, one of the most deadliest games, known to any group of friends... Truth Or Dare?"

The counsellor held out her hand, as if to command any of the campers from laughing.

"Now, you may think to yourself: Truth or Dare? That can't be dangerous. Well, that's exactly what the teenagers thought. Truth or Dare: it'll be something to pass the time. But round after round of meaningless Truths, prying into the affairs of each other, the group began to devolve, tense for something more to the game. Until suddenly, one brave soul took on the first Dare."

The counsellor did take notice of another counsellor -walking near the campfire- stop and watch her.

"The first dare, which was charged with such a large amount of tension from the impatient teenagers (and one they all knew couldn't be denied) was-"

The counsellor that had been quietly watching suddenly leaped onto the storyteller. The surprise made the campers scream while the attacking counsellor pulled the storyteller into a headlock.

"That night, never happened..." The counsellor hissed into the other's ear.

"You could've just taken a chicken, you know."
I needed something to follow up my awesome camp out with my friends... this is probably the limit to what I'm allowed to talk about it. :D
