They say that the first steps are the hardest,
because they are the ones that matter the most.
You have to fight against the vice of uncertainty,
against the weight of your fears
and the doubts that chain you to one place.
To struggle and take that first stride forwards.
Be it busting a habit or blind-siding the blues,
the most difficult journey is the one that you take with yourself.

Scorching a path through the unknown

Look through the mist of doubt,
and see the river
it branches off to all possibilities
